About Molten
Molten started from a simple annoyance: almost every phone case is flat. Printed graphics on a slab of plastic. You can put a wolf on it or a marble pattern on it, and it is still a slab.
We only sell cases you can feel. Fangs pressed up out of the shell. A skull cut clean through it. Foil crushed and frozen mid-crumple. Every one of them is a shaped surface, not a picture of one — which is why they look different in daylight than they do under a lamp, and different again in your hand.
How we choose
We keep the range small on purpose. A design gets in only if it does something when it moves. If it photographs well but dies in the hand, it does not make it.
How it works
Cases are produced in small runs by our manufacturing partner and shipped direct to you. No warehouse markup sitting between the two of us. That is why a sculpted electroplated case costs what it does here, and why it takes a week or two rather than a day.
If something goes wrong
Write to us. A person reads it, usually the same day. If the case arrived damaged or wrong, we replace it and you keep the old one — shipping it back across the world helps nobody.
